I’m a highly skilled Risk Management Executive with over 35 years of experience working for two of the world’s largest insurance brokers Marsh and Aon. During my time at Marsh & Aon I worked with some of New Zealand’s largest SOE’s, Government Departments, Corporate, Iwi, HNW and NFP businesses where I developed strong relationships and became the trusted insurance advisor, I am today through my dedication and service I provide and continue to provide to my clients.

I am now a Director for Caulton Risk Management Services Limited where I am continuing to provide specialist Commercial Insurance advice to support New Zealand businesses make informed decisions about their risk management and insurance needs.

I am contracting to Hurford Parker Insurance Brokers.

For me, good insurance advice starts with understanding the business, the people behind it, and the environment they operate in. I take a long-term view with clients and value relationships built on trust, consistency and practical advice. I focus on:

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife and our three boys and their families when they are back in Taupō. I’m also a big sports fan, especially rugby, golf and tennis, and I rarely say no to a gym workout, bike ride or walk, especially when it’s followed by a good coffee at one of my favourite Taupō cafes
