Employment support that works
At Workwise, we believe that everyone who wants to work should have the opportunity to seek employment or training and experience the positive impact it can have on their lives.
Our Employment Consultants work within the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model, partnering with clinical teams, health professionals, and other support services to help people pursue employment through a Rapid Job Search approach. We also work closely with local employers, connecting people with opportunities that align with their strengths, interests, and goals.
We believe employment and training can help people build the future they want for themselves and their whānau. Having purpose, connection, routine, and the opportunity to contribute can make a real difference to a person’s sense of belonging, independence, and overall quality of life.
The people we support come from many different walks of life. Some are discovering strengths, opportunities, and aspirations they may never have recognised before, while others are exploring new possibilities after life circumstances have led them in a different direction. Our role is to encourage, support, and help people see what is possible.
The most rewarding part of my mahi is seeing people discover new possibilities through employment or training, reconnect with their strengths, and achieve the goals they have set for themselves and their whānau.
