About Dr Paul Wood: Paul’s remarkable story begins as a drug-addicted high school dropout who spent 11 years in New Zealand’s toughest prisons after a murder conviction. However, during his incarceration, Paul became the first person in New Zealand’s history to complete both undergraduate and Master’s degrees in prison, and the first to begin a Doctorate while incarcerated.
Now a Doctor of Psychology, Paul combines his powerful personal transformation story with expertise in resilience, emotional intelligence, and leadership. His authentic, insightful, and engaging presentation style challenges audiences to see beyond their perceived limitations and embrace their potential for growth and excellence.
